Bringing Words to Life through Voice Work

Audiobook versions of your textbooks can improve understanding for second-language learners, students with learning difficulties, and auditory learners. They can also help average and gifted students with challenging words and historical literary styles. Audiobooks are also useful when time constraints are an issue or when it’s simply more convenient to listen to the text than to read it. Screen readers are often available to students who need them, but hearing text read by a human voice brings the proper pacing and inflection to better facilitate comprehension.
