Even Small Changes Can Make a Big Impact

As a small business we hope to make a big impact on the publishing industry. This is the same type of thinking that leads us into our environmental commitment. 4d leaves a small footprint, but we work with some of the largest publishers in the world so we feel we can influence the impact publishing has on the environment.

We work with publishers to come up with ways we can reduce waste (namely paper and CD/DVD consumption) on a small scale. And we are always looking for new ideas to help publishers reduce waste on a large scale. Fortunately, the publishers we work with closely are very environmentally conscious and have initiated many of their own programs to decrease their impact on the planet.

We are currently involved in local programs in and around Seattle where we can make a difference. Luckily for us we live in a community with many opportunities.
